Aims and scope

Beginning on the 1st of October of 2016, Technology, Innovation and Education will cease to publish new material. The journal is therefore closed to new submissions. All articles previously published by Technology, Innovation and Education will remain freely available and searchable on this site.

Technology, Innovation and Education addressed the growing need for scholarly inquiry into the ways that technology and new organizational approaches, often enabled by technology, impacted the field of education - broadly considered in all of its forms. This broad view included the range of age-specific (pre-Kindergarten through post-secondary and career training) and traditional physical structures, as well as online and blended models. The journal explored new horizons in organizational approach and the roles technologies played. It encouraged methodological innovation and trans-disciplinary connections to provide a missing voice in the design of theoretical and empirical research, as well as management and policy decision-making.

Content previously covered by Technology, Innovation and Education will be encompassed by the Journal of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Authors are encouraged to submit their work instead to this complementary SpringerOpen journal.
